Support Classes for Non Native English Speaking Children

The English Language Centre runs support/conversation English classes for children of all nationalities aged from 4 to 16 years.

The Centre is very aware that the children will have already completed a full day at school prior to coming to class. They may also have a considerable amount of homework, and so it is with this in mind that the course content is formulated.

All classes are led by a well qualified and experienced language teacher.

Each class attends twice a week for one hour.

For ages 4 – 11 class sizes are a maximum of 12 students.

For ages 12 -16 class sizes are a maximum of 8 students.

Although all classes have the full contents of reading, writing, listening and speaking, the greatest emphasis is put upon conversation.

Great importance is attached to pronunciation and intonation.

The course programme will be presented in a variety of formats, including classroom teaching, group teaching, worksheets, drama, music, games, and art and craft activities.

Feedback from some of our parents....

We are so relieved, because at last my children have support with their English classes. We could never help them as we do not speak a word of English. Since they have attended "Chatterbox", their marks at school have significantly improved. Before they always had a 4 or 5, now they come home with 7 or 8!!!!! in English.
Mil gracias, María
